Joe Delatte, president and COO for Home Clean Heroes, has been awarded Employee of the Month (and Buzzy!) for June. Joe joined the BFB team in December of 2017 as director of operations, and has been a wonderful asset to our team! He was recently promoted to president and COO of Home Clean Heroes as a result of his strong work ethic, ability to build relationships and grasp of business fundamentals. Over the past few months he has stepped into the new role effortlessly, and has proven to be the perfect fit in this Home Clean Heroes leadership role.

Here is just a short list of just some of the reasons Joe makes our team great, and why he was selected as the June Employee of the Month.

• He pushes you to step out of your comfort zone. Whether it comes to work or fun, Joe encourages people to try new things. One coworker said, "Joe is a driving force in pushing the local operations team, sometimes out of their comfort zone, to achieve what was thought to be the unattainable 60% margins!” He also stepped up and took the lead in both the leadership offsite retreat and in the corporate off-site retreat to coordinate entertaining performances, including rapping and singing, with the other new employees.

• He has experience in the franchise business. As a previous home services franchise owner, Joe doesn’t just talk the talk. He is business savvy in the franchising space, and can relate to the personal ties involved in investing in a franchise. He is the perfect candidate to lead the Home Clean Heroes franchise team given the experience he gained during his time as a franchise business owner.

• He’s a Joe of all trades. Aside from prior franchise owner experience, Joe previously worked in senior level positions in marketing, advertising, strategic planning and product development for several large media and telecommunication companies. Outside of his excellent business leadership skills, his ability to act as a great sounding board and his perfect attendance record at happy hours are some of the other qualities we love most about Joe.

Here are some fun facts about Joe for you to get to know him a little better. 

• Can you play any instruments? I was a garage band drummer in high school. And I can play any song you want to hear on the harmonica, but it will come out sounding like "Oh Suzanna."

• Choose a movie title for the story of your life. “Any Day Now…” 

• What’s your favorite flavor of Pringles/chips? Regular. Just regular. Where did all these weird flavors of chips come from? Why do we need cauliflower infused chips? I want to start a regular chip movement. Good old regular American chips.

As you can see, not only does Joe have an infectious personality that provides a positive energy throughout the entire office, but he is one of the hardest working, compassionate and driven employees around. Way to go Joe!
