Giving Thanks for Our Employee of the Month

Congratulations to our employee of the month, Cassaundra Taylor! Cassaundra joined the British Swim School team back in February as a franchise business coach and has done an incredible job not only coaching franchise owners, but playing a pivotal role in British Swim School’s rapid growth.

Cassaundra’s Background

Cassaundra joined the Buzz Franchise Brands family after a 14-year career as a recreation manager for the local parks and recreation department. She also had a four-year stint as an EMT, showing her dedication to helping others. When Cassaundra’s not providing excellent business coaching to her franchisees, in her free time she enjoys going to the beach, reading, and doing puzzles. She also plays on and coaches a co-ed sand soccer team.

Why We’re Thankful for Cassaundra

Cassaundra seamlessly fit in with the British Swim School corporate team and franchisees immediately. Her adaptability and strong work ethic are perfect for her role that requires traveling to visit franchise owners and coaching them to help their business be the best it can be. She’s had a handful of shout outs recently from her franchisees, which goes to show the work she puts in to build great relationships.

Her lighthearted and relaxed nature make her easy to be around. She also takes our company core value of “Have Fun” to heart, recently starting Buzz Franchise Brand’s first ever kickball league!

Here’s what one of Cassaundra’s coworkers said about her. "Cassaundra has consistently put herself on the frontlines to make sure our franchisees are served. She is regularly on the road for back-to-back weeks and is committed to the success of the business of every single franchisee she supports. She is eager to learn and happy to teach. She is a great neighbor to have on the row, and I am always happy to see her in the office!"

Get to Know Cassaundra Better

Here are a few insights about Cassaundra to help you get to know her better.

What is the weirdest thing you've ever eaten?

While I can’t think of one thing, I am an adventurous eater. Will try almost anything once, especially if it is a challenge. I pretend I am competing on Fear Factor – I have to get and keep it down. That, in and of itself, is probably pretty weird.

Favorite show or movie?

Show- Shark Tank
Movie- Remember the Titans or 300

Favorite place you have visited and why?

Puerto Rico. I love the beach, culture, and the rainforest. Fun fact: my parents are high school sweethearts and met in Puerto Rico while their parents were stationed on the military base. Knowing this story, when I was in first grade, I told my teacher I was Puerto Rican. My teacher called my mom to ask her to come and present a cultural dish and share about the culture to the class, at which point my mom circled back to reveal to me that I was indeed NOT Puerto Rican (My mom is white with blonde hair and blue eyes, and my dad is black). She still thinks this is the funniest story from my childhood!

Cassaundra, you have been such an asset to the team and are a true joy to work with. Thank you for all the hard work you put in to make British Swim School franchise owners successful, we are so happy to have you as part of the Buzz Franchise Brands family!
