Congratulations to our Employee of the Month, Kirsten Robinson! Kirsten joined the Buzz Franchise Brands family at the end of 2021 as a franchise business coach for Pool Scouts. Kirsten came on board during the rapid growth of the Pool Scouts brand, playing a pivotal role in supporting franchise owners to help them get their businesses up and running.

What Makes Kirsten the Best

Kirsten has a confidence and steadiness in her demeanor and work that make others, both her coworkers and franchisees, feel comfortable and confident that she can handle anything. She has an excellent sense of reading people, which is an important skill set in her role of communicating with and training franchise owners. She cares deeply about the people she works with and is invested in doing whatever it takes to make sure they’re set up to be as successful as they can be. Kirsten is also a great listener, and always has the best advice.

As a franchise business coach, Kirsten’s role often involves her to be available after hours, and requires traveling to visit franchise owners so that she can continue supporting them at different points in their business ownership journey. She puts in endless time with a smile on her face because she’s passionate about the work she does and seeing others succeed.

Outside of her strong commitment and knowledge of the Pool Scouts brand, Kirsten is also the type of person everyone wants to work with. She is kind, and the best storyteller that can make any situation hilarious. She also has a no-nonsense attitude when needed, which leaves others confident that if she says she’s going to do something, she’ll get it done.

Get to Know Kirsten Better

Kirsten has been a Virginia Beach local since the fourth grade, and received her undergraduate degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. When not providing the best support to Pool Scouts owners, Kirsten enjoys baking, sewing, and walking. However, her true passion is traveling, and she has even been to 5 out of 7 continents! While she has no interest in going to Antarctica, Australia is high on her list in places to visit.

What is something about you that most people don't know?

What most people wouldn't know about me is that my most relaxing moments are spent knitting and/or crocheting. I also love gardening.

 What is the most exciting thing you've ever done or experienced?

The most exciting thing I experienced was exploring the Galapagos Islands.

If you could choose anywhere to go in the world, where and why?

If I could go anywhere in the world, I would spend six months exploring Asia and I'd love to go to Australia.
