Our September Employee of the Month Has Us FALL-ing into Success

Congratulations to our September Employee of the Month, Steven Waterhouse! Steven, our British Swim School Vice President of Strategic Programming, has been an amazing asset to the Buzz Franchise Brands team since the beginning. Steven started with British Swim School back in 2012 and seamlessly transitioned into the Buzz Franchise Brands family when British Swim School joined our brand family in April 2019.

While Steven has long been the ‘go-to’ guy for British Swim School - from franchisee support, to overseeing all technology systems, to everything in between - his role became even more crucial with the transition to Buzz Franchise Brands. Steven was instrumental in getting the BFB team educated on the intricacies of the British Swim School brand, making sure the brand vision and voice remained intact, all while making sure franchisees were heard along the way. He continues to be a solid resource for franchisees and corporate teammates alike, while bringing strong and innovative ideas to the forefront. While a large part of his job involves traveling to provide in-person support to franchisees, he has continued his constant support and clear communication during COVID both virtually and via phone to ensure that franchisees are still getting the training and support they need.

Steven is a walking encyclopedia when it comes to knowledge on the British Swim School brand. He has a strong sense of what British Swim School is all about, and he is passionate about the mission. Steven always keeps a positive and lighthearted attitude, and does a great job balancing franchisee needs with brand protocols and corporate structures. Not to mention, he has the best Zoom backgrounds for company-wide calls.

He brings unmatched experience, dedication and passion to our swim school brand, and is always willing to share his experience and perspective with others - both franchisees and the corporate team. Prior to the COVID shutdown, Steven was spending a lot of time on the road supporting our British Swim School system but he hasn't let the lockdown slow him down - he's just leveraged his love of technology to continue his coaching and support!  We're very thankful to have Steven as part of the team, and we continue to benefit from his knowledge and love of all things British Swim School.
