Feeling Great-fall for our Employee of the Month
Congratulations to our September Employee of the Month, Emily Pavlik! Emily joined the team in February this year as a British Swim School Marketing Specialist, although it feels like she’s been part of the family much longer. Emily has been an incredible addition to the British Swim School team, providing strategic and innovative ideas while also being a constant source of support to franchisees for all things marketing.
Emily’s Background
Prior to joining British Swim School, Emily worked as a marketing manager at Old Dominion University, where she oversaw all marketing and branding for seven centers, including managing social accounts, sharing weekly newsletters, and overseeing PR efforts. The experience of wearing many hats prepared her well for fostering and maintaining relationships with franchisees system-wide. She dove right into her role with confidence, able to tackle many moving parts within separate campaigns and the various areas of marketing. Emily came into British Swim School at a unique time when the brand really started accelerating quickly at the end of COVID-19. Her ability to roll up her sleeves and jump in were crucial during this period of change and quick growth.
Emily’s organizational skills and ability to talk to anyone are just a couple of her strengths. She always maintains a positive demeanor and keeps a can-do attitude, which is important with such a large franchise system. She’s done an incredible job continuing to be intentional and proactive when helping franchisees, even as the system grows at a rapid pace. There’s no way the marketing program or our franchisees would be where they are without Emily’s hard work and innovative mindset.

When not providing excellent marketing support to British Swim School, Emily enjoys going to the beach with her husband, Curtis, and their daughter, Ella. Having a young daughter, Emily understands better than anyone the importance of teaching children to swim, giving her a personal investment in the mission she serves every day.

We are so thankful to have Emily as part of our family, and have thoroughly enjoyed getting to see her grow alongside the British Swim School brand. It’s no coincidence that Emily joined at the beginning of 2022 and that British Swim School has already surpassed their goal of new franchisees recruited for the year.
