The Buzz on Our Employee of the Month
Congratulations to our Employee of the Month, Kathy Turley! Officially, she is the Home Clean Heroes Director of Marketing and unofficially, she is our expert event planner and happy hour MVP. Kathy has been with the Buzz family for over five years and has proven that she fully embodies our company values.
Why Kathy’s Our Hero
Kathy excels in her role of supporting franchisees with their marketing initiatives. She has clear and direct communication skills to keep various tasks and marketing plans on track. Kathy also constantly seeks ways to improve and further local marketing opportunities to help each owner build and grow their business. Her bright and positive personality helps franchisees feel like they can open up to her and gives her an approachability that’s important in her relationship with franchisees. Her kindness and wisdom also resonate with her corporate teammates, who often will go to her for advice or even if they just need a listening ear.
While she’s amazing in her role leading Home Clean Heroes marketing efforts, she goes above and beyond outside of those job limits. Kathy plays a key part in planning events for Buzz Franchise Brands, including franchise consultant open houses and our 10-year anniversary party. She’s able to keep track of the many moving parts that it takes to plan an event. This is all on top of her full-time job managing marketing at both the corporate and franchise development levels, while also supporting franchisees at the local level.
Kathy also knows how to live out the core value of having fun. She’s often the one to get Friday happy hours started, bringing everyone together to celebrate a week of hard work. She does a wonderful job making fellow employees feel welcome and comfortable, earning her the office nickname “Aunt Kathy” because you feel like you’ve known her your whole life and she’s family. Here’s what one of her coworkers had to say about getting to work with Kathy. "Kathy is so much more than just a valued, vital member of the Home Clean Heroes team. She never says no when asked to help. She is the diligent force that our franchisees rely on to help build leads and market presence, a steward of our franchise development communications and outreach, and quite often the last person out of the building (including happy hour). More importantly, Kathy is the trusted ear and source of reason for many Buzzers. She is who people think of when talking about our family culture. We love coming to work with her every day."

Are you a morning or night person? I think everyone at Buzz Franchise Brands already knows the answer to this one - I am definitely NOT a morning person!
If you could visit any place in the world, where would you choose to go and why? Bora Bora - my husband and I went there for our honeymoon and have always said we would love to go back. Who doesn't love a hut over the water? New Zealand is a close second because one of my nieces lives there now and it's been several years since I've seen her.
What are your pet peeves or interesting things about you that you dislike? I have this crazy phobia of walking on the grates in sidewalks.
