Congratulations to our Employee of the Month, Edward Barham! Edward joined the Buzz Franchise Brands family in the summer of 2019 as a senior accountant and quickly proved he was not only a finance master and data machine, but an employee who truly embodies our core values and brings the company culture to life.
Why Edward is Employee of the Month Material
Edward immediately fit in with the Buzz family from the start, both professionally and personally. Edward’s strong ability to not only analyze data but to build out the information so that both franchise owners and the corporate team can make informed choices has been instrumental in the company’s growth. When there’s a request to see specific information broken out in a different way, Edward always goes the extra mile. He not only finds a way to share reporting in a way that’s easy to understand but will often go a step further and share additional insights to help owners make the best decisions for their businesses.
Edward has grown alongside the company over the past five years and was promoted to director of finance in March of 2023. He continues to bring strategic insights and fresh ideas to help improve the company’s data platforms, while also managing the ever-growing and evolving finance team. He has also dedicated the majority of his time at Buzz Franchise Brands to leading the summer finance internship program, mentoring and cultivating students interested in finance to help them build valuable skills.
Outside of Edward’s brilliant data-driven mind and strong work ethic, he’s a true pleasure to work with and a key attendee at company happy hours. If the chips align just right after a weekend fishing trip, his company-renowned cobia ceviche even makes an appearance!

Fishing rod with plenty of tackle, snorkeling equipment, my family. Sounds great!
If you could choose anywhere to go in the world, where and why?
I'd like to get to the south pacific at some point. Endless summer, lifetime supply of aforementioned deserted islands, so many different cultures to experience!
