Our EOTM is Warming Up Winter with Kindness
We’re thrilled to recognize Kathy Turley as our latest Employee of the Month! As the Director of Marketing for Home Clean Heroes, Kathy has also gone above and beyond by stepping in to lead Wonderly's marketing efforts.
WHAT MAKES KATHY THE BEST
“Kathy has truly embodied our BFB values this fall—but especially Empower and Serve—as she graciously stepped in to guide Wonderly Lights during the brand’s busiest time of year, even as she continued to be a Hero to all of our HCH franchisees. Kathy worked extremely hard to get up to speed on Wonderly and quickly became an important part of the brand team, trusted by the Wonderly owners for guidance and advice. As if that wasn’t enough, she was also a key planner for the amazing BFB Convention held last month in Dallas—the biggest and most well-attended convention in BFB history! Kathy has always been a true professional, passionate about BFB and our culture, and tirelessly committed to each and every franchisee she works with. Congrats, Kathy!”
Kathy is a favorite around the office—always jumping in to help others and offering support wherever it’s needed. It’s no surprise she’s earned the nickname “Aunt Kathy” for the care and kindness she shows to everyone around her. Her dedication, positive attitude, and genuine warmth make her an invaluable member of the BFB family.
To help everyone get to know her a little better, we asked Kathy a few fun questions:
What is something about you that most people don’t know?
I’m more or less an open book, but most people might be surprised to learn that I grew up sailing on the Chesapeake Bay outside of Annapolis. From the time I was 7 to about 16, my parents had a sailboat, and we spent most summer weekends on it. Later, when my oldest brother was stationed in Bolivia, my dad “took care” of his sailboat. There’s no better place than being on the water—and sailing is my preference!
If given the chance, who would you like to be for a day?
Retired—ha, ha!
If you could choose anywhere to go in the world, where and why?
Italy, for the history, the food, and of course, the wine! It’s a bucket list item for sure.
If you could have an endless supply of any food, what would you get?
Chocolate (because it pairs so well with wine) and pizza.
Congratulations again, Kathy, and thank you for all you do to support our brands, franchisees, and team. Your dedication and leadership inspire us all!
