BFB History: The Background Behind Our Brands
Buzz Franchise Brands was built on the idea of enabling people to realize their dreams, and then turning those dreams into reality. Our vision for making that happen is to become a leading multi-brand franchising company providing key services to people, homes and businesses. Our company vision is at the core of each of our brands and is what energizes us when we walk into work each day.
The First Chapter of Our Brand History
When coming up with each of the BFB brands, we put a focus on the importance of people’s time and thinking through all of the things that compete with this commodity. Each of our brands provides services that can help remove some of those “need to do” items so that there’s more time for the “want to do” list. Our focus is providing value to people and their families so that they can enjoy life just a little bit more as a result of our services.
Our founding brand, Mosquito Joe, is a huge part of our brand history. The goal of Mosquito Joe was to help families enjoy their backyards without getting eaten alive by mosquitoes. Growing to over 280 locations open in under 6 years and becoming an industry leader, we had the pleasure of servicing families across the country and helping them to ‘make outside fun again.’ While Mosquito Joe found a new home in 2018, they continue to grow, providing mosquito control service to more and more families across the country every day.
The Brand Story Continues with Pool Scouts
Pool Scouts, a residential pool cleaning concept, was the next brand to come to fruition. The pool cleaning industry was historically made up of ‘Chuck in a trucks’ that were unreliable and unprofessional. The goal of the Pool Scouts brand was to bring a new level of professionalism, reliability and trust to the pool service industry that was severely lacking with existing companies. Throughout our branding, we put a focus on these key elements and to show how we follow through on our word. We follow up our service policies and guarantees with ‘Scout’s Honor’ to make it clear how serious we are about performing the excellent work we say we’re going to. And of course, at the core of the brand, we hope to give people back the time they’d be spending cleaning their pool to enjoy on other things, such as relaxing in a clean pool!
Here We Grow Again with Home Clean Heroes
Once Pool Scouts was up and running, we were ready to explore another key area we could provide value by developing our next brand. Home Clean Heroes, a residential house cleaning brand, was created to bring a fresh perspective to a dated industry. You’ll never see the word ‘maids’ or the color pink in our branding. Instead, Home Clean Heroes has bright, clean, cool colors and a focus on our superpower, which is defending your free time. Home Clean Heroes also puts a large focus on trustworthiness – with grime-fighters in customer’s homes, we want to make it clear that our customers are in good (and safe) hands when having their homes cleaned.
The Final Chapter of British Swim School… or is it?
Last but not least, we most recently acquired British Swim School in April of 2019. British Swim School provides world class swim lessons and water survival skills. The British Swim School brand puts a focus on ‘survival of the littlest,’ although they teach people of all ages. Throughout the branding, playful and exciting elements are incorporated to show that learning can be fun, and that’s what British Swim School is all about! Swim lessons shouldn’t feel like a chore, or be a source of fear or distress, but rather something to look forward to for the whole family. And our swim school brand complements the house cleaning and pool cleaning brands well, as it also provides families with an important service that can help them feel safer and more relaxed around water.
While British Swim School has rounded out our trio of brands, we are excited to continue growing and look forward to what the future holds!
