Thankful for Our Employee of the Month

Congratulations to Lenore Wilkinson, our Employee of the Month! Lenore joined Buzz Franchise Brands almost a year ago as a graphic designer on the creative team. She has quickly become engrained in the fabric of Buzz as a pivotal player bringing all of our brands to life.

Lenore’s Background

Lenore’s as artistic as they come. She was born and raised in New York City in a family of artists – her dad is a sculptor, her sister is a painter, and her mom was an old-school graphic designer (pre-computers). She went to Skidmore College, where she studied Art History and Studio Art. She has a penchant for puns, two super cute little mutts named Beans and Noki, and a great eye for design.

Why We Adore Lenore

Lenore has significantly raised the design bar at Buzz, streamlining our graphics to have more consistent, quality visual elements that have elevated all our brands over the past year. She’s stepped up to the plate with some huge projects that got thrown her way, handling them all like a champ.

Lenore has helped evolve the creative department by onboarding and training a new graphic designer to round out the creative team. She’s also played a huge role in the transition of the company’s project management tool, which took quite a bit of time to learn, train, and help onboard the rest of the company. Lenore has also been a key player in multiple website launches over the past few months. The amazing work doesn’t end there though! Lenore also helped brainstorm and create branding for our newest brand, Grand Illuminations in an accelerated amount of time. And at the same time, helped create the materials for convention for not one, not two, but three brands! While any of these things on their own would be a huge undertaking, Lenore managed to crank out beautiful work for all of these projects happening simultaneously.

Outside of her incredible work, she’s a gem to work with, providing a perfect balance of energy and laughter to brighten anyone’s day. You can’t even pass by Lenore on the way to the bathroom without her making you smile! Here’s a note from one of Lenore’s coworkers: "Lenore has done an excellent job juggling a variety of significant projects during a transition period for the creative department. From the Grand Illuminations brand launch to project management platform onboarding to getting Emily up to speed on all things creative, she's done a wonderful job. She's also such a joy to be around and can brighten anyone's day."

Get to Know Lenore Better

Here are a few insights from Lenore's life to help you get to know her better: 

Name one of your favorite things about someone in your family.

My sister and I are five years apart but we're so close that a lot of people think we're twins! We talk almost every day, and she gives the best advice. 

If you were an animal, what would you be and why?

I'd love to say something glamorous like a leopard, but the reality is I'd probably be an ostrich. Gangly and goofy.
If you could have an endless supply of any food, what would you get?

For sure Italian food...pizza, pasta, gelato, wine...what's not to love? I lived in Italy for nine months and ate pasta literally every night and never got sick of it.
