Celebrating 10 Years of Buzz Franchise Brands

This week marks the 10-year anniversary of Buzz Franchise Brands! On June 26, 2012, founder and CEO Kevin Wilson and his team of four came together to launch a franchising company with the mission of enabling people to realize their dreams of business ownership. Over the past 10 years, we have more than achieved that across multiple brands with over 50 corporate employees and hundreds of franchisees across the U.S. and Canada!

The History of Buzz Franchise Brands

When Buzz Franchise Brands first started in 2012, our team developed the founding brand, Mosquito Joe, into a 280-location franchise across 34 states plus the District of Columbia. Three short years later, a second brand was added to the family with Pool Scouts, and then a third, Home Clean Heroes, in 2017. While Mosquito Joe found a new home in 2018, we continued to own and operate our pool cleaning and home cleaning companies until 2019, when we welcomed our newest brand to the family, British Swim School. Celebrating 10 Years of Success

In the past 10 years, we’ve grown, adapted, pivoted, and ultimately thrived across a changing economy, global pandemic, and the addition of new brands. Here are just a few of the moments we’re proud of over the past decade. 

  • We’ve helped hundreds of franchisees realize their dreams of business ownership and achieve that reality. At the core of every decision made, this continues to be our mission. Across four different brands, we’ve created and refined business models to launch franchisees on the fast track to achieving their goals.

  • We’ve expanded our corporate team from five original employees to a group of over 50 dedicated people all sharing a collective passion of serving our brands and helping our franchisees achieve success.

  • Year after year, our brands prove themselves with countless accolades. This year, Buzz Franchise Brands received recognition as a Best Place to Work by multiple companies, including Inc. Magazine, Virginia Business and CoVa Biz. All three of our brands were also recognized by FranServe as Fran-Tastic brands that go above and beyond the norm and help people fulfill their dreams of business ownership through franchising.

  • We set lofty goals across brands each year, and this year has been our strongest year of growth across all brands! We’ve got a solid system in place of franchise owners who are dedicated to giving 100% to their businesses, and the results show! We couldn’t achieve our goals without the system of driven franchisees making it all possible and are proud of the incredible work they’ve put in to make us collectively successful as a franchise system.

Buzz Franchise Brands is a company like no other, that not only performs well, but has a culture unlike most companies. The positive and forward-thinking culture has provided an environment for employees to thrive, and this ambition will take us to new heights in the next 10 years. We plan to continue providing the best franchise support out there to help our franchise owners find success, as well as continue propelling that support forward to new franchisees as we build and grow our systems.
