Congratulations to our Employee of the Month, Kelsey Scott! Kelsey joined the Buzz Franchise Brands team in September of 2023 as a British Swim School Operations Support Specialist. From the start, Kelsey has been a huge help with all the training and onboarding processes for new British Swim School franchise owners.

Get to Know Kelsey

Kelsey was born and raised in Virginia Beach and attended Old Dominion University. She recently married her high school sweetheart Alex, and in her free time enjoys playing pickleball, disc golf, and going on cruises. Fun fact: her twin sister, Alisa, also works for Buzz Franchise Brands on the direct mail team. As you’ll see, these two should have their own comedy show!

Why Kelsey is so Great

Kelsey is a true team player, always putting the franchisees and her teammates first. She’s done an incredible job leading the onboarding process for British Swim School and is all about efficiency, which is so important in her role. She’s diligent in making sure every step of each process is complete and is constantly working to make systems even better. Outside of her strong work ethic, Kelsey is also a joy to be around, and we’re pretty sure she’s never had a bad day. She’s always smiling and is also hilarious, bringing a great energy to the office. Here’s what one of Kelsey’s coworkers had to say about getting to work with her.

 "Kelsey has been a great addition to the British Swim School team since joining in September, replacing a very experienced team member without a single hiccup. She consistently finds additional ways to improve her processes and is a true team player - staying up late to help the franchise business coaches hit their end of year review deadlines after a full day of aquatics training, or taking on onboarding tasks to help us more efficiently launch our new franchisees - the list goes on and on. She is a true asset to the team!"

Here are some fun facts to help you get to know Kelsey even better.

What is the most exciting thing you've ever done or experienced?

Skydiving tops my list of thrilling experiences! It happened to be my very first time on an airplane, and it was a very, very small airplane.

If you could choose anywhere to go in the world, where and why?

If I could choose anywhere in the world to go, I would choose Hawaii because I have never heard anyone come back from a Hawaii trip unhappy. 

What's the first thing you would buy if you won the lottery?

The first thing I would buy if I won the lottery would be a plot of land on the Virginia Beach Oceanfront to build a massive beach house for me and all of my family, with mini homes inside of the massive home. That way, we would live together, but not together at the same time.
