Buzz Franchise Brands continues growth in 2020

If this year has shown us anything, it’s how to be strong and innovative during difficult times. Buzz Franchise Brands has adapted and shifted to align with what’s going on across the country as it relates to the COVID-19 pandemic. We’re leaning on our core values and working harder than ever to continue providing excellent services to people, homes and businesses.

Amidst all the recent ups and downs, it was great to find out that we were recently honored as a Fantastic 50 winner by the Virginia Chamber of Commerce. This accolade is awarded to the 50 fastest growing companies in the Commonwealth. We are thrilled to be recognized for our hard work and growth throughout the past year. Despite difficult times right now, this award serves as a reminder of what we’re capable of achieving. We were recognized along with other amazing neighbors headquartered in Virginia Beach, such as The Language Group and SOLitude Lake Management. More about the Fantastic 50 Accolade

For 25 years, the Virginia Chamber of Commerce has recognized the Fantastic 50. In order to receive this award, companies must be privately held with headquarters in Virginia and show revenue between $200,000 and $2 million. They must also show positive revenue growth and net income year over year. Barry DuVal, President and CEO of the Virginia Chamber of Commerce said, “Small business is the heart of our economy and we are pleased to honor the entrepreneurial spirit and hard work of Virginia’s fifty fastest growing businesses.”

How Buzz Franchise Brands is Adapting to Continue Growth

Buzz Franchise Brands has remained committed in 2020, hosting our first virtual Meet the Team Days for candidates interested in starting a business and welcoming new customers and franchisees into our family.  

While each of our brands has been affected by the coronavirus pandemic differently, we continue to make innovative decisions to help grow and develop our business on a daily basis. We are keeping clear and constant communication with franchisees, so that they have the support and guidance they need to make the best decisions for their franchise location.

How we’re adapting our services is a bit different for each brand.

  • While all British Swim School locations temporarily closed during COVID-19, they have been proactively communicating with customers and providing frequent updates on the status of their business. This will continue as locations get closer to re-opening, with adapted operations, over the coming weeks and months.

  • Home Clean Heroes continues to clean houses but with added levels of safety, such as extra sanitation practices, use of protective masks and gloves, and using an extra EPA approved disinfectant.

  • Pool Scouts has primarily continued business as usual, while adding in additional safety and sanitation precautions. Technicians are avoiding contact with customers while servicing pools and are sanitizing any surfaces they come in contact with while on site. Since many families are spending more time at home, Pool Scouts has been able to provide a fun and clean environment for families to enjoy while social distancing.

As Buzz Franchise Brands continues to look ahead and adapt to different situations, we are excited to continue serving our franchisees and customers, growing our family, and enabling people realize their dreams. As our CEO Kevin always says, “Onward and Upward!”
