Buzz Franchise Brands Brings Annual Convention Back to Cancun

Each year, Buzz Franchise Brands hosts our annual convention across brands for franchisees to come together and celebrate a year of successes, learn from each other, and set goals for the year ahead. The past two years we’ve had to pivot to virtual conventions, but we were absolutely thrilled to be back in sunny Cancun, Mexico this past November. 

The past year saw many milestones and areas of growth across the British Swim School, Home Clean Heroes, and Pool Scouts brands. Not to mention, our franchise family has grown quite a bit since we were all last together, so getting the opportunity to have an in-person convention was especially rewarding. Energy was high, franchise owners were hungry to learn from each other, and the entire event set the momentum further into motion heading into 2023.

British Swim School – Seas the Day

British Swim School, America’s leading “learn to swim” franchise, had a packed agenda, including welcoming all 31 new franchisees that joined the family in 2022, honoring impressive performances by established franchisees, and outlining an ambitious plan for 2023. The brand also celebrated gaining 50,000 new students to their swim program! “This has been an incredible year for our individual franchisees and for British Swim School as a whole,” said Ashley Gundlach, British Swim School President. “We couldn’t do this without the consistent hard work of our franchise owners, and we love being able to take the time to honor all those who make this growth possible. British Swim School is energized and looking forward to a terrific 2023!” The theme of “Seas the Day” focused on embracing the momentum of the brand with encouragement to continue thriving and growing (alongside a water pun of course).

Home Clean Heroes – Together We Shine

This was a special convention for Home Clean Heroes as it was the first in-person convention the brand has been to! It was also the first time Home Clean Heroes franchise owners had the opportunity to be together as a group, providing an extremely valuable opportunity both from a learning perspective and for the culture of the brand. The convention theme was “Together We Shine” which focused on how as a system, Home Clean Heroes is stronger. It’s also a nod to as mentioned above, the first time being together in person, which was a huge win! The theme was woven throughout the agenda and sessions, which included an interactive role-playing session where franchise owners highlighted what to do in different situations with customers. 

Pool Scouts – Deliver the Difference

Pool Scouts was thrilled to be back in Cancun for the first time since January of 2020, with the system having grown significantly over that time. “This event was a great opportunity for our franchisees and the corporate team to come together, learn from one another, celebrate successes and share best practices,” said brand president Michael Wagner. “The Convention was a tremendous success and a wonderful, fulfilling experience for all involved.” The convention’s theme “Deliver the Difference” which was centered around what makes Pool Scouts a premium brand by providing a more professional pool cleaning experience, as well as an elevated customer experience.
