We’re So Lucky to Have Our Employee of the Month!
Congratulations to our employee of the month, Madison Rivoir! Madison joined the British Swim School family in September 2022 as an Aquatics Program Specialist. Madison’s impressive background in aquatics, fitness and recreation made her a perfect fit to join the team. She has prior experience as a lifeguard, swim instructor, lead swim coach, and aquatics coordinator, which provided her a strong skill set to dive into her role as Aquatics Program Specialist, pun intended.
Here's what Madison had to share about her background in the water. “I joined my high school swim team, and then got my first job as a lifeguard at a local Naval Base. From there I’ve stayed in Navy Aquatics for the past 9 years teaching and advocating for water safety!”
Why We Love Madison
Aside from Madison’s strong background in aquatics, she’s also a wonderful employee who’s always a pleasure to be around. Her light and positive energy is infectious, and she’s always willing to be a listening ear to help franchisees problem solve. She’s proactive in finding solutions, working to improve and refine the aquatics program to ensure the best experience for our swimmers. With aquatics being the core of the British Swim School brand, Madison’s strong work ethic and knowledge have been crucial to the success of the program.

What is the most exciting thi’g you've ever done or experienced?
Hiking an active volcano in Sicily! It had, hands down, the most beautiful v’ews I've ever seen, and also, the thinnest air I've ever tried to breathe .
What is something about you that most people don't know?
Most people know that I was a competitive swimmer, but I didn't actually start swimming until my junior year in high school because I thought it was a lame sport. Come to find out, it is in no way lame and is the best sport of all! Super funny how it became my career!
If you could choose anywhere to go in the world, where and why?
It's a toss-up between Iceland and Scotland for my next bucket list trip! I absolutely love greenery and all the historical things that would go along with Scotland but would love to see the northern lights and soak in the blue lagoon in Iceland. You really couldn't go wrong with either.
Madison is a joy to work with every day and has been an excellent source of support to our British Swim School owners navigating the aquatics program. Thank you, Madison, for all that you do.
